MusCaaaaaaat is a comet. A dry Muscat for foodies of all kinds, which you will enjoy with a Corsican sheep cheese, with a Corsican sheep to whom you will tell your crazy stories, with a Corsican who will express himself like an ancient poet reciting ephemeral verses.

TASTING
Eye: gold with golden white tints.
Nose: floral, ample.
Palate: smooth and harmonious texture, with notes of spring flowers, litchi, with a mineral finish (shale).
Terroir
Vines grown with respect for nature, planted on clay-limestone soils with traces of granite.
Winemaking process
4-hour skin maceration. Free-run and press juices blended together. Made with indigenous yeasts (“wild yeasts”), MusCaaaaaaat has no inputs at any point during the winemaking process. No chaptalisation, no deacidification/acidification, no colouring, no thickening… we respect ourselves and we respect you. Fermented for 30 days in 228L oak barrels having contained Nielluciu wines, aged on lees in the same barrels for 6 months. Unfiltered. No added sulphites (total SO2 <20mg/L). Natural wine.
Winemaker
This is a “four-handed” wine. It was created by Christophe Kaczmarek and Lisandru Leccia, winegrower from the eponymous biodynamic Domaine in Patrimonio’s heart (Cap Corse, North of Corsica).
The wines are made, blended, bottled and packaged on site. From the vine to the cellar, everything is done with the aim of respecting nature, regenerating the soils, promoting biodiversity and respecting the people who are part of it.
